As the voice for business, the Yountville Chamber of Commerce works at Local, County, and State Levels to represent your business interests, ensuring that Yountville and the Napa Valley remain a desirable place to build and grow business.
This means you can concentrate on running your business while we meet with elected officials, community leaders, and business stakeholders to create and sustain pro-business policy that will provide a favorable climate for your business to succeed.
We believe working with our local elected officials and Town staff enables us go farther together. This leadership alignment and collaboration has resulted in economic growth and sustainability in Yountville.
OUR ADVOCACY WORK
We successfully worked with Town Staff, Town Council and Yountville Tasting Rooms Stewart Cellars, Jessup Cellars, Girard Winery and Priest Ranch to advcoate for enhanced wine service on outside patios.
We successfully advocated for the passage of Yes on Workforce Housing Measure S in 2018. Measure S imposes an additional 1% tax on hotel guests, that is set aside for workforce housing programs and services.
WINE SERVICE BY
GLASS & BOTTLE
We successfully advocated to allow Yountville Tasting Rooms to be able to pour wines by the glass and/or bottle. Working with Town staff, Yountville Tasting Rooms and Town Council. The Town Council voted unanimously to amend the municiple code to allow this change.
In January 2019, the Yountville Chamber stepped up to facilitate the Napa Hospitaltiy Industry Partnership (Napa HIP), a group of business leaders and community partners dedicated to working together to cultivate change around workforce development.
Working together with Town Staff, Town Council and our business community, we have begun to address parking pain points throughout town. An eight month process, we have now begun to move into workshops to formulate public private partnership solutions for parking in our community.
