18th Annual Celebrity Chef Veterans Day Luncheon

Yountville Chefs Pay Tribute to Veterans at the California Veterans Home with a Complimentary Feast.

Chefs, volunteers and dignitaries from the Town of Yountville, once again, saluted residents of the Veterans Home of California – Yountville, on Wednesday, November 9, by preparing a multi-course feast for the 18th Annual Celebrity Chef Veterans Day Luncheon.

Orchestrated by Napa Valley Chef Bob Hurley and the Yountville Chamber of Commerce, this annual luncheon to celebrate our nation’s veterans featured the culinary talents of Chef Cary Delbridge of Brix Restaurant & Gardens, Chef Camille Jeanty of Bistro Jeanty, Chef Alex Espinoza of Bottega, Chef Octavio Alcantar of Bouchon Bakery, Chef Michael Foster of Mustards Grill and Chef Daniel Fox of The Veterans Home of California.

This year’s Chefs Luncheon was back to its original format in which Veterans home members were able to dine together in groups and table service was provided by joyful Yountville local volunteers. Members were treated to five start service as they enjoyed a delicious three course gourmet meal.

We want to thank the Chefs, Volunteers and Veterans Home staff for making this event a success once again!  It was a true honor to serve the residents of the Veterans Home.  Special thanks to Chef Bob Hurley, Matt Guyot and Angelika Wieling for their efforts to make the day a beautiful celebration!
