On Wednesday, September 15, 2021, the Yountville Chamber of Commerce hosted our September Networking Mixer. The mixer was held at North Block Hotel & Restaurant on what can only be described as the perfect September evening.
Guests enjoyed watermelon margaritas, pizza, chicken liver mousse, and chilled jalapeno soup from the new North Block Restaurant. North Block Restaurant was the only Napa Valley restaurant to be added to the Micheline Guide in 2021. Nick Tamburo, who joins North Block from NYC’s Momofuku, brings fresh energy to Yountville with his take on refined California cooking featuring locally-grown, ingredients. Rotating with the seasons, the menu features meat and vegetarian dishes infused with raw and smokey elements, in addition to woodfired, naturally-leavened pizzas. Our Mixer guests felt very lucky to get to try some of chef Nicks’s tasty bites!
We were also lucky enough to have member wineries Jessup Cellars and Silverado Vineyards pour at our September Mixer. Jessup poured their famous Chardonnay and a lovely Zinfandel and Silverado Vineyards poured a crisp Sauvignon Blanc and a delicious Cabernet Sauvignon.
Our October Mixer is on Wednesday, October 13, at TINA Stephens and Cornerstone Cellars from 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. We hope to see you there!
