We fund research, coordinate patient data, and mobilize researchers and clinicians across the globe to work towards a better life for everyone impacted by Smith-Kingsmore syndrome.

Bella Union Unveils Artist in Residence: Harold Mendez

Bella Union Winery in Rutherford has launched its inaugural Artist in Residence program, blending contemporary art, winemaking, and cultural storytelling. The program brings world-class artists to the winery to create original, site-inspired works that become part of the estate’s growing art collection.
The first featured artist is Harold Mendez, a Guggenheim Fellow known for thought-provoking works that explore themes of memory, identity, and labor. He’s created a commissioned piece titled “A Moment’s Notice”, a sculptural installation that will be permanently on display starting Spring 2025.

This special event is part of the Roots & Shoots practicum project, focused on reducing social isolation among veterans by revitalizing the Mixed Nutts baseball program. The entire community is invited to attend and support this meaningful initiative. KVYN will be broadcasting live from the field—come out, bring your friends and family, and enjoy a day of connection, fun, and community spirit.
