Yountville’s own Chef Thomas Keller takes center stage in the latest season of Netflix’s Chef’s Table: Legends, offering an intimate look at the journey that led him to our beloved town and the world-renowned French Laundry.

In his words: “I reflect on the early struggles and setbacks that paved my path to Yountville, CA, and my role in taking over The French Laundry from Don and Sally Schmitt and their family. These challenges taught me important lessons about resilience and growth, motivating me to continually seek improvement.”

The episode is a beautifully told story of passion, perseverance, and the pursuit of excellence—core values that have shaped not only Chef Keller’s legacy but also the identity of Yountville as a culinary destination. We’re proud to see his story shared with the world.

About the Event 

DTC Wine Unleashed is a highly tactical afternoon event designed to help wineries build an end-to-end, scalable DTC system they can actually implement. With the acquisition of WineDirect Software by Commerce7, wineries across the globe are re-evaluating their tech stacks and looking for clarity, efficiency, and results. 

This event goes beyond platform demos. Attendees will leave with a full-stack DTC blueprint — from DTC mechanics to storefront, fulfillment, retention and compliance

The Oxbow School has gifted its Napa campus at 530 Third St. to the Napa Valley Education Foundation (NVEF), officially transferring ownership on May 6. The donation includes studios, dorms, and communal spaces, and will become a vibrant hub for arts, wellness, STEM, and career exploration. NVEF plans to expand hands-on learning, deepen community partnerships, and continue core programs across Napa, while launching a Discovery Fund to support the campus’s future.
