Whitney Diver McEvoy
President & CEO, Yountville Chamber of Commerce
WELCOME NEW MEMBERS
Hunter Glenn
We’re thrilled to welcome our newest member, Hunter Glenn Estate, to the Yountville Chamber of Commerce! Founded by brother-and-sister team Caroline and Jeffrey Shifflett who are the 4th generation of a Napa-Valley grape growing family. Jeffrey is responsible for production; after many harvests in the cellar, he pivoted to focus on farming. He now manages the family’s 120 acre property at the end of Darms Lane in the Oak Knoll district of Napa Valley and makes Hunter Glenn wines on the side. Caroline is responsible for building relationships throughout the United States and managing the daily sales efforts on property.

Our very own President and CEO, Whitney Diver McEvoy, Featured in 57º Magazine Fall 2024
“Beginning with Whitney Diver McEvoy’s childhood in Chicago, food, hospitality, and service have played central roles in her life. Growing up, Diver McEvoy learned valuable first aid training from her mother, a nurse, and cooking skills from her father, a classically trained chef.
Now, as president and CEO of the Yountville Chamber of Commerce, Diver McEvoy’s office is just steps away from some of the finest spas, hotels, and wine and food establishments in the world. It is a profession and lifestyle she treasures.
“My favorite thing about the Napa Valley is that it is a small town. I never experienced that, growing up,” says Diver McEvoy. “There are many things that make Napa Valley special, and what rises to the top for me is the natural beauty and close-knit community.” Community is what originally drew Diver McEvoy to Chamber work, shifting from a career in political operations, events, and fundraising following a move to San José from Sacramento with her husband, Matt. When Diver McEvoy learned that the San Jose Chamber of Commerce was hiring an events manager, she jumped at the opportunity. Helping the community, connecting people, and a touch of politics were the perfect fit.” – Betsy Reynard

October Events in Yountville & Napa Valley 2024
October is prime viewing for fall colors as Napa Valley’s vineyards turn beautiful hues of red, orange, and gold. This month, add a bit of wine country wellness to your Napa Valley visit or take in a one-in-a-lifetime performance. Napa Valley’s wineries, restaurants, and resorts continue to welcome visitors with best-in-class hospitality. Now is a great time to book your annual Napa Valley vacation.
Best Hiking in Napa Valley
There is a very good reason to book an extra day in Napa Valley—get outdoors and take in Napa Valley’s extraordinary beauty. Because the region is, indeed, a valley, there are several opportunities throughout the mountain ranges and rolling hills to take a hike and drink in the incredible vistas. We asked Yountville’s welcome center volunteer and very own hiking expert Chris McAuliffe for his favorite hikes in Napa Valley.
