Happy Friday Everyone!
June has been flying by, and we’ve seen this town fill up beautifully – welcoming fellow Californians, our LGBTQ2+ community visitors, and travelers from across the country and around the world. With our Chamber office inside the Welcome Center, we get to witness firsthand the wonder visitors experience when they arrive in Yountville for the very first time – it never gets old.
As June and Pride Month draw to a close, I want to take a moment to thank our entire community – businesses, locals, members and non-members alike – for the genuine, open-hearted welcome you extend every single day. Thank you for keeping this town vibrant, warm, and unmistakably Yountville. Some people dream for years about visiting here – and we get to live it every day. How lucky are we?
Now, grab that water bottle, because July is coming in hot! We’re getting ready to celebrate the USA’s 250th birthday in full red-wine-blue style – with a lineup of incredible events, some of the best bottles and vineyards on the planet, and a Blue Zone that makes every other wellness destination jealous.
As we close out June, let’s raise a glass to both the US and LGBTQ2+ flags. Let’s be proud of who we are and what we stand for: the freedom to be yourself, to be treated with dignity, to belong, to have equal opportunities – that’s what we’re celebrating. Whether it’s Pride Month or America’s 250th birthday, whether you are part of the LGBTQ2+ community or not, whether you are a local or visiting for the first time, you are welcome in Yountville.
Cheers to a wonderful July ahead!
